Issues About Importing Demo Content (Empty Screen Problem)

During or at the end of the import process, if you’re seeing an empty space like below:

WordPress Demo Content Import Empty Screen

OR, an error message like below:

“This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.”

It means you need to do a couple of settings on your server. These happens when your php.ini file (a file related to your server) needs some configuration.

Those are the possible solutions:

1. Increase max_execution_time and max_input_time values.

2. Increase upload_max_filesize value.

3. Uploads must be enabled.

4. post_max_size value must be bigger than upload_max_filesize value.

Those values should be fine for each setting:

max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300
upload_max_filesize = 100M
post_max_size = 200M

If you have this setting (editing php.ini file) on your hosting control panel, you can do this. It should be something like “PHP Settings” or “Edit php.ini file”. Or you can ask your hosting provider to configure those values.
